Eedenglen offers residents access to a variety of facilities
Library
A well-equipped library is located in the office building where residents can check out books. Library hours:
Monday 9:00 – 11:00
Worship
Inter-denominational Worship Services are held on Sundays at 10:00 in the hall at the office building.
Meals
Residents can order delicious hot lunches from the kitchen. Meal tickets are available from the office and orders can be placed with the kitchen on a regular basis or one-off basis. A delivery service is available to all residents within the resort.
Hairdresser
The resort has a professional hairdressing salon located in the administration building and is open from Tuesday to Friday. Dalene and Natalie are available for appointments.
Recreation and Dam Area
Eedenglen has a beautiful green area with a water stream and pond. The area offers a breathtaking view of the sea and beautiful gardens decorated with sculptures by Renier Viljoen, one of our residents. There is a walkway that stretches around the pond, a covered sitting area, benches and a boules court. The area is a favorite especially for bird watchers and our four-legged residents.
Postal Services
There is no mail delivery within the resort, but Eedenglen has post boxes conveniently located near the entrance. Post boxes can be rented from the office.
Security
Eedenglen offers 24-hour security with access control as well as electric fences and CCTV monitoring.
Transport
Eedenglen has a minibus that transports residents at regular times to shopping centers and the town for shopping. The minibus is also available for other excursions.
Laundry Services
Laundry services are offered to residents of the Protea and Betcare apartments and the Frail Care Centre. Laundry services are also available to the other residents of the Village at reasonable rates.
